Universal Wheelsets

Excel Pro Series Wheelsets are universal by design and can be adapted to most new Motocross machines by using the correct modular Carrier Ring Adapter Set.

Excel pro Series Hubs are available in machined Silver or Gold anodized finishes. Both our proprietary 6061 T6 Billet front and rear hub design allows for the use of only 32 single swaged straight pull stainless steel spokes per wheel.

DUNLOP SUPERMOTO TIRES

Buffalo, NY: In yet another example of how racing improves the breed, Dunlop Tires proudly announces the arrival of a new generation of Supermoto race tires. These 17-inch slicks were developed at various regional and national Supermoto tracks, and Dunlop even built a new, purpose-built Supermoto circuit to develop this tire at its Huntsville Proving Grounds. The KTM Supermoto Team participated in testing these new tires in Huntsville, and many other of the top names in the sport have also helped with testing under actual race conditions-provisions that ensure proven performance.

Even though Dunlop riders have held a virtual hammerlock on all classes of AMA Supermoto racing at the highest levels for the past two years, Dunlop engineers launched into a development program that began with a clean-sheet design and resulted in a completely new tire purpose-built to meet the unique demands of this rapidly growing sport. These new tires feature a unique, slightly raised surface matrix that will serve as a pattern to facilitate hand cutting, if so desired-a distinct innovation that has a patent pending.

Designed to eliminate chatter and provide excellent grip, these tires also deliver nimble handling for quick turn transitions. A wide-footprint front tire supplies excellent rider control and feedback. As would be expected, these new Supermoto tires are full-on racing slicks, and as such are not DOT legal. The rear tire is sized to work equally well on both 4.25- and 5.00-inch wheels, and these new tires definitely set the pace in Supermoto tire performance. The front tire comes in size 125/70R17, while the rear is a 160/60R17.

These tires are now available, and will be distributed exclusively by Erion Racing.
